The Mission Darkness XL TitanRF Faraday Gloves are made out of TitanRF Flex Faraday Fabric, an elastic high-shielding conductive fabric that has been lab tested and certified to confirm shielding effectiveness standards IEEE 299-2006. The set includes two double-layer gloves for left and right hands—with extra-large arm lengths allowing a greater reach inside forensic boxes. They are primarily used for shielded hands-on touch and device screen operation in forensic labs, RF boxes, and similar enclosures. The material blocks RF signals such as WiFi, cell signals (including 5G networks), GPS, and Bluetooth. These are the same gloves included with the Mission Darkness BlockBox Lab XL, and can be easily installed/replaced in the case of a punctured or worn-out glove. The leading source of signal penetration in RF boxes is gloves with holes or abrasion that the user cannot see, which is why it is important to frequently test your lab set-up and replace gloves as needed.
